Chalet Goldenhorn is a 1st floor 2 bedroom holiday apartment which is bright, spacious and modern. It’s a great choice for centrally located accommodation in the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen.
This apartment sleeps 5 - 6 people:
Bedroom 1 - 1 double king-size bed
Bedroom 2 - 1 bunk bed, 1 single bed, 1 single pull-out bed
All beds are European sizes.
Bathroom 1 - bathtub with shower overhead and WC
Apartment location - Just a 350m walk downhill from the train station, 300m from the nearest supermarket and 450m from the nursery ski slopes, the mountains and ski areas are just a few steps away!
With an open plan kitchen/living/dining area, it has loads of room to relax and enjoy all the amenities you would expect in a quality property. The sunny south-west facing balcony extends the living space nicely.
With two spacious bedrooms and one bath, it works very well for a family or small group. There’s free WiFi and a large-screen TV with a DVD player for your entertainment, and the second bedroom has its own large-screen TV and DVD player - ideal when you want the kids to have their own space!
This first-floor apartment at Chalet Goldenhorn is well-designed, serviceable and comfortable – well-suited for the guest who is looking for convenience and functionality in a spectacular Alpine setting.
There is the added convenience of a heated ski & boot room to keep your equipment warm and dry as well as the use of a washing machine and tumble dryer in the chalet’s communal laundry room.

What you should know...
Although Wengen is a "car-free" mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.

There is no washing machine or dryer available for use by guests. But there is a self-service laundromat in the village about 400m (6 minutes walk) away if required.
As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.
